    Hello All,

    So I *think* I have just managed to setup Dovenet on my BBS @ nottinghambbs.com , I am based in Nottingham, UK and just getting back into BBS things after 26 years away :)

    Shoot me a reply if this manages to appear in the correct places on DoveNet :)

    I used to live in a village near Ollerton growing up. About 25 miles north of Nottingham. I went to Nottingham ITeC for a couple of years on Glasshouse St near the Victoria Centre. Great memories. I was always calling a bunch of bulletin boards in the are. Most I don't remebmer. I do remember Sherwood Forest BBS, I think it was, run by Kevin Lindley? and Kleo's BBS that was run by Jonna. She was daughter of a sysop and her BBS ran at night when his ran during the day, Bob, I think his name was. So many vague memories.

    I passed Heanor a couple of weeks a go which reminded me of Tracy who ran Tele...something. Oh geez! I was only like 18-19. I was barely old enough to have a Prestel account...in fact, I wasn't at the time I got it!

    I am not sure you're old enough or involved enough to remember any of that. It was good times. Nottingham is one of my favorite cities.
